St ives u12 were drawn in pool b of the county cup on sunday on a sticky pitch game one saw them play saffron walden and came away 10-0 winners game two was v huntingdon and after taking the lead let stags back in with an intercepted pass 5-5 that was to be the last try they conceeded all day.

Game three saw the young bulls take on st neots and ran out 20-0 winners and in their final game requiring a win or draw to proceed to the finsl they took on the might of cambridge sands who in the end were no match for the bulls who ran in two tries 10-0

st ives topped their group and now had to play cambridge blood(A) who had won their pool with ease, The game was played at a pace of rugby not seen this year but st ives held firm and started to control the set piece giving their backs time to run in two tries and secure and fabulous win for st ives rugby club
