Following the tragic death of Arturas Rudys whilst playing for Wisbech in October, Ives' annual charity match was always earmarked to support the fundraising for his partner Jolita and their son Arturas. Bulls' players and supporters raised a fine £250 which has been donated to support the family.
The rugby itself was played in sodden conditions. Well marshalled by upcoming referee Sam Gledson, the overs (all those over 35 years of age), sneaked a result by one score over their younger colleagues.
It was a great day as players old and new, their families and friends all demonstrated their love for the game, and their support for the rugby family.
