4. St Ives RUFC Complaints Procedure

St Ives RUFC Complaints procedure
If we or a Club Member falls short of the standard of behaviour you expect as a member of the Club, we hope that you will tell us so that we can try to put things right and to do better in the future.
We expect all members to treat each other and visitors to the Club with dignity and respect, and we expect Club volunteers and officials to be afforded the same courtesy. Complainants who shout or become abusive - including cultural, racial or religious references or offensive language may not receive a response to any correspondence which uses such language.
This procedure covers complaints about:
- the behaviour of our Club members, officials or visitors to the Club
- any action or lack of action by Club officials affecting an individual or group
It does not cover:
- matters that have already been fully investigated through this complaints procedure
- anonymous complaints
Complaints process
Where possible, all correspondence should be sent via email.
Stage 1
Wherever possible, please raise your complaint on the spot with the person with whom you are dealing.
Stage 2
If this is not possible or if you remain dissatisfied, please email the current Operations person via stivesrufccomplaints@gmail.com
It will help us deal with your complaint if you give as much background information as possible.
You will receive an acknowledge of the complaint and the Operations person will ensure that your complaint is dealt with by an appropriate individual within the Management Committee of the Club.
Wherever possible, we will investigate and strive to send you a full reply to any correspondence sent via email within 10 working days of receipt of your complaint. If this is not possible, we will explain why.
Stage 3
If you are dissatisfied with this response, you can write directly to the Chair of the Club via email stivesrufcchair@gmail.com. The Chair will review your complaint and its handling and will write to you with their findings as soon as possible.
